Archive processing

MboxDesk processes only the MBOX, MBX and EML files you choose. Import, parsing, search, thread grouping, attachment inventory, hashing and export run locally in the current Release build. The originals are opened read-only and exports are written separately.

Accounts, uploads and tracking

The current app does not require an account, connect to a mailbox, upload archive contents, include advertising trackers or enable an analytics or automatic crash-reporting service.

Website and checkout

This website may produce ordinary server access logs. Purchases are processed by Polar as merchant of record under its own privacy terms. Shipmac receives the purchase details needed to deliver and support the app; payment-card details are not handled by the app.

Support material

If you voluntarily send Shipmac an archive sample, failure report or other diagnostic material, it will be used only to investigate the issue you reported. Remove private correspondence before sharing whenever possible.

Changes

This page will be updated if MboxDesk adds any optional network feature or third-party service.

Website analytics

This website loads Google Analytics only after you choose Allow analytics. When enabled, Shipmac measures page visits, the product hostname and checkout starts; it does not send files or content processed by the Mac app. You can change your choice at any time using Analytics choices.
